The Power of Art

Cartoons printed in a Danish newspaper touched off a series of angry riots by Muslims who found the cartoons to be deeply offensive to their religion and to themselves. That got me to thinking about how art has been used not only by political cartoonists to stir things up but by governments as propaganda, particularly during times of war and national emergencies.

I thought it might be fun to do a Google image search and see what turned up.
