So friend Margaret calls us up and says "I'm going to the hearings about these Diebold computer voting machines and the lack of a paper trail.. how about you guys come along with me?"
Both Margaret and Patti are members of MoveOn.org and MoveOn wanted to pack as many members into the spectator section of the hearings as they can to show citizen concern for the lack of a voter "paper trail".
Patti declined the offer for the little 100 degree adventure but I decided what the hell. Besides, Moveon was handing out these free white tee shirts to promote the cause.
