home again, home again, clickity-clack

We made it back to DC, no side trips to hell like last year and no broken leg to tend to for the next 6 months. Actually, everything went quite smooth on our 3 day and very wet interstate journey from western Iowa to Washington.

The car is unloaded, everything is piled on the bed and we'll get to it tomorrow. Patti is going thru 3 stacks of (mostly junk) mail, each stack is about a foot high. I've had a very nice shower, put on clean clothes (the first in 3 days), cracked my first beer of the day and all is well with the world.
Oh, but all this traffic as we come into DC!

Anyway, this is just to let any of you who have tuned in to know that we made it back safe and sound and no worse for the wear. (my butt hurts just a little)
So until another subscriber posting is made here it's "Good night and good luck" from bill and patti.
