Beachin' weather (Day 5)
But of course we made it to the beach and much to my surprise SOME Florida beaches are not just repetitious exercises in flat, boring, sandy sameness.
Shoes off, wading, beach combing (no luck) even some solitary sitting and... breathing in the ocean air which bore with it just a faint hint of that fishy, salty and seaweed smell. (If ocean odors are not too overbearing, I do like it.)

Leaving for Miami in about an hour with an overnight stay at friends and then I'm off to hunt 'gators in the swamp. .. or something.
Not sure yet of the plan but then again I kind of like that.

I love this video. So relaxing to me. The ocean and the easy feel. Gotta love Eric and the family living as they want and not as socity tells them to. I envy them.
I will have you know that my lady in waiting has taken her place in the Yanke House. She is center stage in my dining room for all to see. I find myself standing there and looking at it. Funny, since I am sure I was heading somewhere to do something in the house and it is like she calls to me. I notice others doing it to. Thank you Bill for allowing us to have a part of Auntie P. It will forever be close to my heart.
By the way...in the painting it says something like "Poody". Can you explain?
Enjoy and thanks for keeping me in touch with the outside world!
Thanks Lyse for your good words.
Don't know what the "Poody" is... something that had meaning to Patti, no doubt.
