Seeking Wholeness: Here's to New Friends!

We're Still Here

Here's to New Friends!

For two days now I've have holed up in South Miami with Pilar, Mickey, Mary, Nic and Orso (the dog). My gracious hosts have not yet kicked me out but alas I am feelin' the pull of the road and will shortly leave this little corner on their Florida Paradise.

Here's the clip of the day: (23 seconds)

I've taken the kayak out onto the canal for a meditative run on the water and may have a hour to do so again this morning before packing my wagon and heading out onto the road. I have yet to decide whether to travel further south.. or east.. or north.
I'll make that decision when the moment comes to do so and my angels tap me on the shoulder and point this-a-way, bub.
The important thing is to keep moving.. keep exploring.. meet up with new things and with great luck pick up some new friends. You can never have too many real friends.
Indeed, where would we be without our friends?

All such green, and water she looking not touched with bad offruns, and sky she showing not threat with bad weather -- you know, dear my son, all the Florida she got be sinful. Better you head up back north -- snow she come Wednesday night, Thursday also. Yes, my son, head north. For salvation of soul. DeMarco, know him not from Adam. With such good Italy name, man should know better. He failed catechism exams, I shall wager.

Glory to God!

Coolio.. an Archbishop stops by to say "hey" (gotta love that Google Translator in the upper left corner)
And yes, yes, I know all of the Florida she be steeped in sinfulness. In fact I was feeling something terribly wrong just this afternoon... tried to put my finger on it and then.. revelations! I needed a Starbucks coffee and an Internet Connection!
Now that I have found IT here in Sebring, Florida as the sweet sign of total relief has enraptured me into some southern Nirvana, I feel that even in the face of the Hot Beast of Old-People Prey luring me ever deeper into the Florida Abyss that truly I shall prevail 'gainst all enticements, emotional and carnal and not be eaten into the Beast and with the help of Exxon, Starbucks and Wifi, I will indeed find my way home into cold country.

Now, good father.. just you try translating all that without losing yer cookies! wheeeee...

Thanks kids!
I enjoyed the stay with your absolutely lovely family.
Will stay in touch.
Currently at a Starbucks in Sebring catching up on internet stuff and will head for one last night in Hobe Sound before heading to Venice Wednesday afternoon.
Having trouble keeping up with my blogging of this little adventure.
